TRACK ADDITIONAL OF PURCHASE
This option is used to know the actual cost of any stock item.
Actual cost means value of goods + (plus) all those expenses which increases at the time of purchase.
Example:-
ABC Company purchased 1 piece of HCL computer for Rs. 25,000. Some additional expenses were made as follow:
Wages Rs. 1,000, Octroi Rs. 2,000 and Transportation Rs. 2,000.
Record the above transactions.
To Maintain:-
First of all create a company and then activate “track additional costs of purchase” as follow:-
To Activate Track Additional Costs of Purchase: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Press F11 (Company Features)--> Press F2 (Inventory Features).
After that create multiple ledgers as follow:-
Path for ledger creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Accounts Info--> Ledger--> Create (Multiple).
Now create stock master:-
To Create Stock Group: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Info--> Stock Group--> Create.
To Create Stock Item: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Info--> Stock Item --> Create.
Now do voucher entry as follow:-
Path for voucher creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Voucher--> Press F9 (Purchase Voucher).
Press “Ctrl + V” to change the mode from item to Dr/Cr mode.
Press on purchase and a form will be open, fill it as follow:-
Press enter and additional expenses box will be open, fill it as follow:-
And then again press enter and accept the voucher:-
Now you can see the stock summary:-
Path for view stock summary: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Stock Summary.
Path for view Stock Item Analysis: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Display--> Inventory Book--> Movement Analysis--> Stock Item Analysis--> HCL.
